phpMyAdmin not working / Safari issue

Hello,

Not sure what happened but suddenly I am not able to edit the database I've been using for months now. If I try to make a change to a price, for example, a "loading" message comes up but then nothing happens. The last time I updated was two weeks ago, and I see a "new version" has been released since then. Maybe that is the problem? These are the messages that are showing on the home page of my account:

A newer version of phpMyAdmin is available and you should consider upgrading. The newest version is 4.0.7, released on 2013-09-23.
Your PHP MySQL library version 5.3.12-MariaDB differs from your MySQL server version 5.5.31. This may cause unpredictable behavior.
The mcrypt extension is missing. Please check your PHP configuration.

I've never upgraded before, so if that is something I should do, please tell me how. Thank you!

Margee

Are you using the Safari browser? (Mac) If so, read the previous topic and switch browsers:

Ignore those upgrade messages- those are meant for the server administrator, not the user. Those are server-side upgrades it is recommending. phpMyAdmin works as is, only it doesn't work in Safari.
