Comments on search

Is there any way to have supplier comments on the search list with private databases. Our supplier often notes when stock is due during the month so it is only worth ordering if the order is placed near enf of month. I tried using the short description field but it does not show.

I would append the comments to the end of the "description" column, as that will automatically show a "more >" link and popup window for fields with a very long description data.

The only other possibility is to repurpose one of the other columns like "manufacturer" or "origin" to contain the vendor comments. You can rename column headings in the search using CSS, so "Manufacturer" or "Origin" could be renamed to "Vendor comment" or similar.
