min/max auto total calculation: filling min number of cases

The min/max is a great feature…
however, sometimes it will calculate the max regardless of whether the min would make a case – for example in our last Pro order
We had 2 people order a case of herbs mint – the case is a 3 count
The total min ordered was 3 – however it automatically used the max totals which was a total of 13 – so 4 cases were ordered when we really only needed 1 case.
I have noticed this with other items and adjusted accordingly, but missed this one… is there a way to change the formula so this doesn’t happen?

The min/max feature is designed to fill as many cases as possible. To have it only fill the minimum required for everyone to get their min qty would need a new feature. If other clubs say they want this, it would get done at some point. Not sure how difficult it would be.
