I have set up the text to our login page and tried to insert a picture via insert picture.

It asks me for a url. I wanted to upload a picture from my computer. How do I have to do this?

It sounds like you may be using the insert image feature of the HTML editor for Source home content. That will only support referencing an external URL, not uploading a file.

If the picture you want to upload is your logo, you can use the Site logo feature on Global settings.
