Accounting Feature: Making Deposits

Is there a way for the simple accounting feature available to give me a total of member payments received (and group deposited) in one day?
Our club operates in a way where we receive payments from all members once every four weeks, even though we operate weekly. We need a double checking feature, to be able to know a total of what was entered as a credit in each member's account against the physical pile of checks received prior to making our deposit. This is how we identify the rare data entry error that can happen.
Thanks! Brenda

Go to the "club-wide view" via the link at the top of Member payments. On the club-wide page, there are checkboxes in the "Sum" column on the right-hand side which collapse that day's transactions by summing them up into a single row.

Beautiful! Would there happen to be a way to get a calendar year sub total by source too?

No, but I can run custom reports for you, for end of year tax purposes.

Do I just send an email to Foodclub Admin to request year end reports for taxes? Is there a sample of what is included available?
Also, I looked more carefully at the data presented when I select the "sum" check box in the club wide view. I see that this is a net total of the day's activity. Because we process invoices on the same day, this would not be a total of deposits only. Will the system accept a future date? I was thinking if we entered member payments for the next business day, then the total could be used to balance our deposit against.

You're certainly right, I should have looked more closely at those club wide account line descriptions. Thank you!
