Change Forum Name?

I wasn't sure where to post this topic. It's a support question, but pertains to the forum, not the database; it's not especially "advanced"; and it's not specific to our club -- in the sense that other clubs might want to do the same thing. The question: Is there any way to change the name of our own forum from the generic "Account: My new Foodclub account" to something more meaningful -- something with the actual name of our club in it? I've looked through various topics, FAQs, etc. but don't see this question addressed anywhere (or maybe I've just been looking in the wrong place). I suspect the change requires some sort of global board administration authority, but I don't see how to gain that authority, or even if I'm allowed to gain that authority.

Good question. You cannot do this yourself, but I can for you. Let me know what you want me to change it to (e-mail support@foodclub.org).

The initial forum name gets set to whatever the source title was when you enabled phpBB integration. (with the leading "Account: " added) It cannot be changed later except my a phpBB admin, which no Foodclub users get, in order to make sure the forums work for everyone.

One reason there is no existing support forum topic, or FAQ item for this question, is that not too many clubs actually use the phpBB forums. There are just a few clubs who are very active on the forums, and they have it all set up the way they want, but most clubs don't use their forum yet. Maybe that feature needs to be promoted better, but also in my experience, most clubs just use an e-mail list and don't need/want a full discussion forum.

Anyway, you're right this question should be documented somewhere, so I am moving this topic into the main Support forum.
