Weighed produce splits with min/max feature

Postby sfrei (deleted) » Thu Feb 13, 2014 7:12 am

When I do the bookkeeping and want to adjust how many or how much a member actually received of a split item, I edit the min and max to get the right amount ordered.

Which means for each split item and each member there are two entries especially with weigh items such as bananas.

Is there a better way to solve this? How does your club do the bookkeeping in a case like that?

Thanks for your help and your suggestions.

There is not currently a better way. For some produce split items, especially weighed ones, you often just need to go down and set the min and max to the same number: whatever each user actually got.

Hopefully only a minority of items are like this for you. I know in my produce sort, most of the counted items end up not needing any modification, as the default allocated value equals what each user actually got. It's just the weighed items that need the min / max adjusted for everyone.

Thanks. That is true. Just wanted to be sure I'm on the right track.
