Items ordered in private database show $0 on invoice

Postby tgrover » Tue Aug 05, 2014 1:03 pm

There are several items that are showing perfectly on user orders. But when I go to Invoice Processing, the items are there but do not list a user. And on the user Invoice, the item also shows but with a $0 total. What am I doing wrong? :|

Sounds like these items were added to an Order (or Splits) after invoices already existed. When this happens, it doesn't read the default prices for those from the database (on Invoice processing), and they will show as $0 on the user's Invoice.

The fix is to use one of the "Re-read prices from database" buttons at the bottom of Invoice processing. If the prices look right, then "Save" and the Invoices will be fixed.

Nope, these items were in the original Order, and weren't added after the splits. The prices ARE listed under Invoice Processing, and also under the Invoice Summary section on the upper right of the screen. But on the Invoice, the items are listed with a $0 total. I have made adjustments to many of the prices because these are meat items that have various weights when they come in. So if I re-read the prices from database, all my changes will be wiped out. Something has happened with these 5-6 items in the system that is causing them to be disconnected with the user ONLY in the invoicing section.

You're going to have to let me know what item code(s) and what sources, so I can take a look.
