Set default sort for splits page

The default sort for the splits page is 'Earliest to Latest entered'. I would like it to be by Description for one of our sources, and then possibly change it to 'Additional split units needed to fill' at a certain point in our ordering cycle. I don't see a setting in the source settings for this. Is there a bit of CSS to do this?

Then if you don't like the nav bar "Splits" link with the default sorting there, you could use CSS to hide that entirely. Then your users would have to use your custom link to get to Splits.

I might be a little funky though, because the custom link would be on your Source home for one source, but all the other sources it would be in the nav bar.
