Hide Nav Menu by default for non-admins

Is there a way to have the Nav Menu collapsed by default for normal users, but leave the default functionality for Admins?

The nav menu is hidden by default for normal users (non-admins) on your main home page. Actually, I believe the nav bar doesn't even exist for normal users on the main home page, so it can't even be shown if they want to.

As for making it default, that can't currently be done, but if the user hides it themselves, it does stay hidden as you've probably noticed.

OK, let me re-phrase the question this way. Is there a CSS hack to disable/remove the Nav Menu completely for non-admin users.
